Amelia Mary Earhart, born July 24th 1897, disappeared July 2nd 1937…..reappeared November 8th 2015. Although it has been 78 years since the world had last seen Amelia, it has been a mere day in the timeless place that is the Bermuda Triangle. Having stumbled into the lesser known Bermuda Triangle entrance through skies of the Solomon Sea, Amelia began her adventure experiencing the perils and triumphs that would soon follow.
When Amelia first flew into the uncharted airspace she was confused about how lost she had become. It was at this time when a friendly albatross named Ernest had approached her, pleading for her help. Once Amelia fully grasped the idea that this bird could speak - and with a posh English accent at that - Earnest was able to show Amelia the value that she and her plane held in a place as technologically-challenged as this one. Ernest informed her that his beloved friend and Dolphin Princess to the good creatures of the Bermuda Triangle, Barbara, had been dolphin-napped by THE EVIL SHIP. This ship was the epitome of all the dark and scary things one thought only existed in nightmares. It was powered by the unruly forces of a sea monster and captained by a corrupt Zombie with only his own self-interest in mind. Anyone and anything standing in the way of this ship would inevitably meet their tragic demise. Or so the Zombie Captain thought….
The Zombie Captain had recently dolphin-napped Princess Barbara with the hope that he would finally have his first taste of the delectably-rare, royal brain. Later in the evening the Zombie Captain hoped to make this dream a reality until his plans were foiled by one woman, her plane and her unexpected group of new friends.
Much to the chagrin of the Zombie Captain, Amelia appeared out of the skies like a Dragon through a thick wall of smoke -there are no dragons in the Bermuda Triangle (that would be absurd). She and her hoard of sea-creature friends (mermaids, starfish, crabs etc.) had put their plan to save the Princess into action. The Zombie Captain scrambled to get to his cannon and shoot down this strange, flying contraption when he was pelted in the head by a seashell. He looked around and saw that his ship was being invaded by the very sea creatures whose brains he would often snack on. Terrified by the number of angry creatures creepy towards him, the Zombie Captain directed his cannon away from Amelia and at the intruders.
Amelia noted the distraction and knew the time for rescuing had arrive. Ernest and his friends had created a lasso with the leftover ribbons and seaweed from Ernest’s birthday party and connected it to the bottom of the plane. It was with this lasso and Amelia’s stellar flying skills that she was able to whisk Princess Barbara off the carelessly placed fishing pole on the starboard side of the ship. Before the Zombie Captain could realize his defeat, he was relishing in what he thought was the retreat of his enemies. When he went to secure his royal, dolphin prize he was shocked to see her flying away beneath Amelia’s airplane. He screamed to the heavens swearing that one day he would engorge himself on Amelia’s brains as retribution. But alas, this was a promise that would not be kept. The Zombie Captain soon noticed that the cannonballs which were meant to decapitate his sea creature foes actually perforated his beloved ship. And as the Zombie Captain well knows, a ship with holes is not a ship at all. Down with the ship the Zombie Captain went. And since he never took those swimming lessons his mother pestered him about, it is safe to say that this was the last time anyone would be bothered by the Zombie Captain and his evil ship.
Reveling in their victory Ernest, Princess Barbara, and the good sea creatures of the Bermuda Triangle thanked Amelia and gave her their highest honor, knighthood - making her the first woman to ever be knighted in the Bermuda Triangle. With some fresh supplies and a map, Amelia began her journey home. What she didn’t realize was she was about to embark on a whole new journey in the strange world of 2015.
